Description:

The boat was designed according to the drawing found in the book «The Manual for Sailing Lovers» by G.V.Ash published in Saint-Petersburg in 1895.

The boat design is similar to ship boat designs. The boat is supposed to be used in extreme weather conditions. The boat is mainly made of selected ship construction pine. The boat has laminated longitudinal framing, the curved frames and clinker plating fixed with copper nail-rivets. The metal details are made of structural iron. The boat hull parts are joined together with galvanized bolts and screws. The boat hull is treated with mixture of flax oil and resin both from the inside and outside. The steel boat hull details has epoxy coating.

The boat is equipped with four double-banked oars, the rudder with the wooden tiller and the gaff rig. An outboard motor up to 8 hp can be installed into a special recess at the after body.
