Description:

Tourist boat  «Grumant-31» is designed to be used for long term sea tours in near-shore areas.

Schematics of this boat were based on the sketch published in the Guide for Sailing Sport Lovers by G.V.Ash, published in1895 inSt.-Petersburg.

Boat body is mostly made of a selected ship construction pine, but some structure components and interior facing parts are made of oak.

Longitudinal and transversal frames are laminated and wooden strip flush faced.  The one layer deck is faced with wooden strips.

Impermeability of the boat is ensured with a traditional calking and joint sealants. Metal false keel is used to ensure stability.

The boat is designed to have two separate rooms, a saloon with two additional sleeping berths and a chart table, a galley with a fridge, a sink and a diesel fuel operated cooking stove, a latrine and an engine room.

There is a diesel generator and a stationary engine installed on the boat, that is of 40 horsepower.

The boat is equipped with hydrophore operated water supply systems for fresh water and a foot operated pump system for outboard water, a heating system, a waste removal system, a forced ventilation system for the latrine, galley and engine room, a manual and electric pump draining system.

The anchor system consists of a chain box, manual windlass and an admiralty anchor. The boat is controlled from the deck house with the steering wheel.

The electric system includes two accumulators, house and navigation lights, an electric switch board, a charger and a power supply cable for power supply from the land. There is an additional 12V power net in addition to existing 220V.

We can provide additional navigation equipment according to customer’s request.

All the hull attachments are made of stainless steel. Sailing accessories are accomplished in accordance with the traditions of the late XIX century.
