Motor boat «Àskold-40T» is designed for tourist or target trips on inland water or in near shore areas.
If seen from architectural design, the boat reminds of XX century boats a lot.
The boat body is made of selected pine on laminated longitudinal frame and clinker planked.
There is a crew's quarters with two sleeping berths, a pilot cabin, a latrine, a passenger saloon and engine room. There is also a small galley in the saloon. All furniture is made of pine.
There is a stationary engine installed, that is of 74 horsepower.
The boat is equipped with a pumpable lavatory pan, gas stove, foot operated water supply pump systems for fresh and outboard water, a manual and electric pump draining system, a forced ventilation system for the latrine, galley and MO, a heating system, a steering engine with a steering chain. There are also a load boom for lifting and dropping of a boat and aft davits. The boat is controlled with a steering wheel from the deck house.
The electric system includes two accumulators, house and navigation lights, an electric switch board, a charger and a power supply cable for power supply from the land.
