«Аskold-49» sailing boat is designed for long time tourist trips in near shore areas. It can also be used for expeditions and study tours.

The boat body is made of selected pine on laminated longitudinal and transversal frames and one layer carvel planking.

There is a forepeak, three separate rooms, a spacey engine room, two saloons, a galley, a latrine and an afterpeak. All furniture is made of pine.

The boat is equipped with a standard diesel engine of 74 horse power and a diesel generator.

There is a water supply system for fresh water (hot and cold) incl. a 1 m3 tank, an outboard water supply system, a waste removal system and a drain system.

Big capacity of fuel tanks (3 cubic meters) ensures good endurance of the boat.

The boat is controlled from the deck house with a steering wheel and a hydraulic steering engine.

The anchor system consists of a chain box, a roller, an electric windlass and a plow type anchor.

The electric system includes two accumulators, house and navigation lights, an electric switch board, a charger and a power supply cable for power supply from the land. There is an additional 12V power net in addition to existing 220V.

We can provide navigation equipment/accessories at customer’s request.

Rigging we provide for this boat is of gaff ketch type. A sail make the boat romantic for the travellers and allows saving of fuel and the main engine capacity. There is a ballast false keel to ensure more stability when going under sail.
