Small centerboarder cruiser «Аskold-22S» is supposed to be used for short and long term sea tours on inland water and near-shore areas. This small boat is especially comfortable for family rest.

Boat body is made of a selected ship construction pine, based on laminated longitudinal and transversal frames and faced with wooden strips. The deck and deck house roof are sided with waterproof plywood and further glued over with glass fabric.

The boat is designed so that to provide four sleeping berths, separated toilet comploc and a small galley. There is also a spacey cockpit in the stern.

To control the boat there is a mounted rudder with a tip-up tiller. The boat may be additionally equipped with a bracket mounted motor, that is of up to 12 horsepower,

Sailing accessories provided are of the Bermudan type, but gaff type ones may be applied if necessary as well. To reduce drift and to ensure more stability when going under sail, steel bulge and inner ballast are designed.

The boat is equipped with a yacht pumpable lavatory pan, a sink with water fed outboard, a gas stove, a manual drain pump, as well as with an accumulator, house and navigation lights.

Minor dimensions and weight are significant advantages of this boat, that allow its comfortable transportation in a trailer or truck for any distances.
