Description:

Askold-22MS is a motor-sail boat and is supposed to be used for short and long distance voyages both on inland waterways and near-shore areas. The boat is well suited for family or parties of friends’ water recreation.

The vessel has the round-bilge hull and the transom stern. The vessel hull is mainly made of selected ship construction pine, while some details are made of oak. The strip planking fixed over the laminated longitudinal and transverse framing.  The deck, cockpit and the roof of the deck-house are covered with water resistant plywood and with glass cloth over it.

According to its design, the boat is supposed to have four pieces of sleeping accommodation, separated WC, the cook-galley and the control post. The ample cockpit is located in the stern. The 12 hp diesel engine and the oil tank are installed below the cockpit.

The motor-sail boat is equipped with the drainage system supplied with manually-operated and electric bilge pumps, the fresh and outside water system supplied with foot pumps,  the waste water system supplied with the marine boat toilet, the ventilation system, a gas oven, the anchor handling equipment, the steering equipment and the mooring fittings.

The electrical facility includes the accumulator plant, the inside lighting fittings, the navigation lights, the electric service panel, the charger and the land-based power cable.

The vessel is equipped with the Bermuda rig and includes the masting, the mainsail and the stay sail, the standing ropes, the running ropes, and a set of the deñk fittings.

In order to provide stability, 500 kg lead ballast weights are installed under the keel.

According to the customer preferences, the boat can be supplied with the navigation equipment or other additional equipment.

The motor-sail boat’s dimensions allow its transporting in a trailer or in a truck bed.
