Description:
«Askold-40» is a motor boat and is supposed to be used as a pleasure craft on inland waterways and near-shore areas. The vessel looks like passenger boats of the twenties of the 20th century.
The vessel hull is made of selected ship construction pine, has laminated longitudinal and transverse framing and single layer clinker planking.
The vessel’s design includes the following:
- forepeak to keep the vessel’s stores;
- fore cockpit protected against negative weather conditions with a shed and having glass fixing at the fore body. The cockpit is supplied with the pilot control station and passenger seats. The oil tanks and fresh water tanks are found below the cockpit plating;
- passenger lounge supplied with soft sofas and tables. The WC is found at the lounge after body;
- aft cockpit and the engine room found below the aft cockpit.
The boat is equipped with the 43 hp inboard diesel engine.
According to the customer preferences, a more powerful engine can be installed.
The boat is equipped with the outside water system supplied with foot pumps, the waste water system with the marine toilet, the drainage system with two manual and two electric bilge pumps, the gyro-hydraulic steering system, the anchor handling equipment and the mooring fittings.
The electrical system includes two accumulator plants, inside lighting fittings, the navigation lights, the electric service panel, the charger and the land-based power cable.
According to the customer preferences, the boat can be supplied with the navigation facilities not included into the basic configuration.
